Our associates, who produce leading confectionery brands such as Mars®, Snickers®, Twix® and Celebrations®, place their trust in you for their future financial security. They have accrued retirement assets in the EMEA region of $9 billion, generating average annual investment returns of roughly $600 million. The Investment Team of which you are part collaborates with an increasing number of external business partners, including investment experts, legal advisers and accountants. You will be responsible for liaising with these contacts in a professional way. In addition, you will ensure that the performance of the various asset managers is measured and reported on accurately and relevantly. You will be responsible within our organisation for implementing the required long-term operational changes in line with new investment portfolio requirements.

This position entails a substantial number of individual duties and assignments, which requires a solid understanding of the investment structure of the Plans and our stakeholder objectives. Investments is your passion; you have a Master’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably have worked for a number of years in banking or retirement funds, and can handle specific annual investment reporting for all plans to Mars Inc. This includes auditing these reports and assisting ETBC investment management in providing support to the trustees on investment-related topics. You will also be assisting your colleagues with a variety of other projects, including tax claims, process improvement and support of the European retirement plans. You combine strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We expect you to have strong MS Excel skills, be fluent in English and preferably also have knowledge of Dutch. This is a full-time position.
