Globe Educational Technology (GET) is a young, technology-centric organization that will launch a series of new products and services in the international educational markets from 2015. GET's products and services are based on cloud-based technology that:

• Provides educational institutions and organizations with full administrative and management support
• Supports teachers with a host of planning and analytical tools to allow them to focus on their profession
• Enables and supports a range of didactic strategies, including personalized adaptive learning.

GET's products and services support every stage of education, from primary schools through professional. Life-wide learning is enabled via a so-called "educational passport"; this standard, portable digital record may be used by other educational establishments or by individuals themselves to analyze and gain insight into their own development, preferences and abilities. GET's technology is based on secure, infrastructure-independent cloud technology uses open, international standards.
Prior to the release of GET's first products in the international market, it is looking for a talented and innovative commercial managing director with knowledge of the educational market and an understanding of cloud computing. The candidate should have experience in creating and developing new business concepts from conception through market launch including product, partner and organizational development.

Job Content
In this role you will refine the international go-to-market plans while building the organization accordingly. You will identify market opportunities and use these insights, to refine the on-going product and services development roadmap. You will develop and implement market entry strategies, employing direct, partner based and hybrid approaches where appropriate. Your plans and strategies will be agreed with GET's shareholders to whom you will report progress on a monthly basis.

Job Requirements
You preferably have a university degree and commercial (executive) experience of working in a hectic, growing and education oriented IT company focused on software development in an international context. Therefore, it is an advantage if you have good knowledge of the (international) education market. You should also be a strong, creative, assertive, entrepreneurial and flexible personality (not a strict line manager) with a pioneering hands-on mentality with proven successful experience in international development and supporting new business concepts.
