Manager FedEx Supply Chain Customer Services



Job description & Profile:
The Manager reports to the Managing Director and he/she will manage the Customer Service department.
The Manager is a strong personality, a good communicator, who independently and in an enthusiastic, energetic manner directs his/her team. The performance and development of each employee is central in this. The Manager is result-oriented, is stress resistant, knows how to deal with strict deadlines and productivity targets and is decisive with the focus on implementing improvement processes to ensure optimum quality and customer satisfaction.

For this function, we ask:
  • HBO working and thinking level or higher.
  • Possession of a valid driving license – B.
  • Very good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
  • Minimum 2 years managerial experience in logistic services.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain based customer service or a related function (e.g. sales, finance, marketing, etc.) is required.
  • Knowledge of Customs is desirable.
  • Experience with responsibility for achieving financial (budget) and operating results.
  • Project Management Skills (Prince 2 or similar).
  • Preferred knowledge on LEAN.
  • Comfortable with all Microsoft Office software.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • He/She has a flexible attitude to working hours.
