IT Business Analyst

Getting bored by yet another release? IT is so much more exciting within a company that has not yet finished inventing itself! We are looking for a strong technology driven IT Business Analyst to co-develop the major expansion of a hydrocarbon terminal. Play an important role in a young team of professionals that is devoted to make this terminal a unique one, by using the latest technology and working only with the best. You help make this project a success by finding the right alignment between business and IT. You will act as the link between vendors, direct colleagues and third parties, with a focus on systems integrations and software architecture. You will be responsible for:

• Daily work on the functionality of the commercial part of the operating systems, where an important task is the communication between internal and external systems.
• Integration of plant automation systems in chemical industry.
• Analysing problems and validating the quality of the produced changes.
• Integration of systems with server backend.
• Project management, communicate on multiple levels and direct contact with vendors.
• Working with: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, ESB, SOA, Java, Frameworks, Scalability, Tieto Hydrocarbon Accounting.

Candidate - IT Business Analyst

As a candidate for the position of IT Business Analyst you have/are:

• A team player involved in the organization development, with focus on safety and quality.
• Result oriented, with an eye for details and ambitious to further develop your skills and knowledge.
• Hands on, know how to extract and manage the data from the systems.
• IT Bachelor or University degree.
• At least 4 year work experience with complex IT systems.
• Able to work independently and accurately.
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle is required. Tieto Energy Components (Hydrocarbon Accounting (HCA) software) knowledge is a plus.
• You speak and write in fluent English, speaking Dutch is an advantage.
