24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our factories deliver Mars®, Snickers®, Twix®, Celebrations® and other great premium-brand candy. As an energy coordinator, you will plan, regulate, and monitor energy usage in the factory. Your aim will be to improve efficiency by evaluating energy use and putting in place an energy management system based on ISO 50001. A major part of the job concerns acquiring insights based on actual facts and figures. This includes monitoring and analysing energy flows, consumption, and CO2 emissions on a daily basis to detect exceptions and improvements. In addition, you will keep accurate records and regularly collect energy monitoring data. Based on your insights, you will provide management information on performance and communicate it to the Value Stream organisation. Other interesting aspects of this job involve providing technical and practical advice, offering training on energy efficiency, and assisting with the preparation of energy budgets.

The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of best practices in energy management within the industry and certification and energy registration systems. You have a proven affinity with other EHS issues and an interest in making a contribution. A strong understanding of statistical methods and tools and a solid grasp of financial principles are essential. You have a relevant technical degree (at least from a university of applied sciences, in energy, environmental science, engineering or other degree, or equivalent experience). Being able to generate enthusiasm and persuade people to take an energy-efficiency perspective is also important. Effective team player who can also work independently. Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. This is a full-time position.
